Chatgpt Grow vs SEObot

SEObot is the tool most founders in this category tried first. It was on the market before the rest of us, it is priced from $49 a month, and it sells one thing clearly: you enter your URL, and the robot handles the blog.

That price buys fewer articles than the same money buys elsewhere, and the differences that matter are in what the articles contain once they exist. This page puts the numbers next to each other: article volumes, cost per article, publishing targets, languages, and what each product checks before an article goes live.

The short version

Choose SEObot if

  • You want to start at $49 a month rather than $99, or you publish to HubSpot, Framer or a custom stack through their REST API and webhooks
  • You need more than 30 articles a month — SEObot scales to 150 and 300, which we do not
  • You also want directory submissions and programmatic SEO pages, both of which SEObot sells and we do not
  • You want 50+ languages rather than 18

Choose Chatgpt Grow if

  • You want the lowest cost per article: $3.30 at our single tier, against SEObot’s $3.50–$5.44 depending on which volume you buy
  • You want original research inside the article — a commissioned survey with a public report — rather than a rewrite of what already ranks
  • You want a quality scorecard that includes how AI-detectable the draft reads, before it publishes
  • You publish to WordPress, Ghost, Webflow or Notion and would rather have the research than the integration list

What is SEObot?

A fully autonomous “SEO robot” with AI agents — the earliest product in this category, built by John Rush.

SEObot researches your site, builds a content plan, writes articles, adds internal links, publishes them and places backlinks, with you approving or declining drafts rather than writing them. You buy it by the article count: $49 a month for 9, $99 for 20, $199 for 50, $499 for 100 plus 20 directory listings, $570 for 150 and $1,050 for 300. Agencies ordering 300 or more pay $3.50 an article.

It is also the widest integration list in the category. Alongside the usual WordPress and Webflow support, SEObot connects to HubSpot, Framer, Unicorn Platform and any stack you can reach through its REST API, webhooks or a Next.js blog. Articles run up to 4,000 words, with YouTube embeds and generated images.

Where SEObot shines

  • Entry price: $49 a month for 9 articles, when our smallest plan is $99
  • The broadest CMS list we found — WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Notion, Shopify, Wix, Framer, HubSpot and Unicorn Platform
  • REST API, webhooks, a Next.js integration and Zapier/Make, so unusual stacks are still reachable
  • Volume tiers above us: 150 and 300 articles a month, and agency pricing at $3.50 an article
  • Directory submissions bundled into the $499 tier, and a programmatic SEO product we do not have
  • 50+ languages, and a track record they publish as 200k+ articles, 1.2B impressions and 30M clicks

Where SEObot falls short

  • Fewer articles for the money at almost every tier: $4.95 an article at $99, against $3.30 with us
  • No original research — articles are assembled from what already ranks, so there is no unique data to cite
  • No published editorial scorecard, so nothing flags AI-tell phrasing or brand-query alignment before publishing
  • Language is a single account-wide setting, so one account cannot write two languages side by side
  • No blog hosted for you, and no Search Console view of how each published article actually performed
  • The 200k-article track record is an aggregate claim; their pages do not break out quality or indexing outcomes

What is Chatgpt Grow?

An AI content service that answers the questions your buyers ask — with research behind the answer.

You paste your website once. Chatgpt Grow crawls it, works out what the brand actually sells, finds the competitors already being recommended by AI, and turns that into the buyer questions your site does not answer yet. Those questions become the topics, the topics become a schedule, and one researched article goes out every day.

The part we spend the most on is not the writing. Articles that carry an original number — a survey of 200 buyers, run for that article — are the ones search engines and AI assistants can quote, so the pipeline commissions that research where the topic needs it and publishes the report alongside the article. Every article is then scored on seven editorial dimensions before it goes out, including how AI-detectable it reads and whether the brand is actually named where the question is answered.

Where Chatgpt Grow shines

  • One article a day for $99 a month, with the research commissioned inside the pipeline instead of bolted on
  • Each researched article ships with a public report, so the numbers in it can be checked and cited
  • A seven-dimension quality scorecard that includes an AI-suspicion score and brand-query alignment
  • Buyer questions, competitors and topics come from your own site and your Search Console data, not from a keyword list you have to maintain
  • Search Console is read per article — impressions, clicks and average position — so you can see which pieces earned their place
  • Backlinks come from other brands on the same platform, and you can switch that off per site
  • A public blog on your own subdomain, so a site with no CMS still has somewhere to publish

Where Chatgpt Grow falls short

  • One connected publishing target per site — you cannot push the same article to WordPress and Ghost at once
  • No Shopify, Wix or Framer publishing, and no Zapier, REST API or RSS feed to build around
  • No AI-visibility tracking, so we cannot show you when ChatGPT or Perplexity mentions your brand
  • Nothing watches pages you published elsewhere for decay, and we do not rewrite existing articles automatically
  • Monthly billing only, and no per-site volume discount for agencies
  • 18 publishing languages — fewer than the tools that advertise 40, 50 or 150

Why choose Chatgpt Grow over SEObot?

Cheaper per article, and the difference is where it goes

At the tier most people compare, SEObot charges $99 for 20 articles and we charge $99 for 30. Across their ladder the cost per article runs from $5.44 down to $3.50; ours is $3.30 at every volume, because we only sell one plan.

What matters is not the third of a dollar. It is that the money goes somewhere different. SEObot spends it on writing more drafts from what already ranks. We spend a large part of it on the research that goes inside a smaller number of articles, which is the part that makes them quotable.

Unique data versus a rewrite of the top results

An SEObot article and a Chatgpt Grow article can be about the same keyword and read nothing alike. SEObot reads the pages that rank and writes a better-structured version of what they already say — useful for covering topics, but it cannot contain a fact that is not already published.

Where a topic needs a number nobody has published, Chatgpt Grow commissions a survey, builds the article on the verdict, and publishes the report beside the article with the sample size and question attached. That is the difference between a page that summarizes an answer and a page an AI assistant quotes as the source.

A scorecard, a hosted blog and Search Console

Two things we built that SEObot does not currently publish: a seven-dimension score on every article before it goes out — including an AI-suspicion score and whether the brand is named where the buyer question is answered — and a blog hosted for you on your own subdomain, so a site without a CMS still has somewhere to publish.

The third is the loop after publishing. Connect your Search Console and each article shows its own impressions, clicks and average position. SEObot sells you more articles; the number you actually need is how many of them earned something.

Frequently asked questions

Is SEObot cheaper than Chatgpt Grow?

It is cheaper to start — $49 a month against our $99 — and cheaper per article at the bottom of their ladder. At any tier where the article counts are comparable, we are cheaper: $99 for 30 articles is $3.30 each, while SEObot’s $99 buys 20 ($4.95 each) and only their 300-article agency tier reaches $3.50. If you publish 9 articles a month, their entry plan is the better price.

Can Chatgpt Grow publish to HubSpot or Framer like SEObot?

No. We publish to WordPress, Ghost, Webflow and Notion. SEObot covers those plus Shopify, Wix, Framer, HubSpot, Unicorn Platform and a Next.js blog, and exposes a REST API and webhooks for anything else. If you are on HubSpot or a custom stack, SEObot is the honest recommendation.

Does either product do original research?

Only Chatgpt Grow, as far as public documentation shows. Where a topic needs evidence that does not exist yet, we commission a survey, write the article around the result, and publish the report alongside it. SEObot writes from the pages that already rank, so its articles re-state published facts rather than introducing new ones.

What do I get for the extra $50 a month at the entry tier?

Ten more articles a month (30 against 20), a quality scorecard on each one before publishing, original research where the topic needs it, a blog hosted for you, and Search Console data per article. What you give up is the wider CMS list and SEObot’s larger volume tiers and 50+ language support.

Can I migrate from SEObot without losing what I published?

Yes. Articles SEObot already published stay on your site; disconnecting the integration does not remove them. Connect Chatgpt Grow to the same blog, and the two sets of articles coexist — which also gives you a side-by-side comparison in your own analytics a few months later.
